Let's fix our world.

I really want the people who are involved with my blog to be also involved with my social circle that would encourage people to experience a better partnership with me.

Mobility and our future.

Everyone ages and the work I do is for all people, young or old, because in time we all will notice a decrease in mobility. Wouldn't it be a good idea to team with mightywheels.ca, and already have accessible infrastructure for all, already built?

Brandon Jacoby - constituency manager of Edmonton McClung, has confirmed with me that he will in fact examine my mightywheels.ca blog, once a week.

Accessibility Map

Long ago in the 80's, In Nananimo b.c. I was a big time Adrenalin junkie, who rode a little titanium BMX bicycle. My friends and I raced around the city calling ourselves "The Mightywheels Team". We all had little kid dreams of moving to Vancouver and being bicycle couriers. That never happened, I got in my accident and the team fell apart. Later on in my life, when I recovered from my injury, I was placed in a titanium wheelchair and saw that the accessibility for a person who used wheels was very poor in my city. I wanted to do something so I started the Mightywheels team back up. I reused the name because of the titanium. When I lived in Kamloops B.C, I made a mission to cross this real high tech bridge that was new but was not accessible for people who used wheels. I had a friend carry my chair across the other side. I crossed the bridge proving that people who used wheels would need to safely cross the bridge. The idea of Mightywheels bloomed from there. In time I moved to Edmonton where I officially formed the Mightywheels.ca wheel accessibility team, I started a blog to spread the word. Later a friend taught me how to link my blog to Facebook, Twitter and Tumbler to get better exposure. I started a Pinterest page connected to my blog showing good and bad surface areas to plan out a map to safely navigate our city. I'm sure in the future my blog will have a virtual map of the whole city that speaks to you and tells you where the bad surface areas are with added pictures and I like to have the map updated every week.

My new plain,

Getting Mightywheels.ca introduced to Edmonton's Legislature is a step towards hook-up with AccessNow and having the contacts and manpower to start a project like AccessNow's mapping, I want to map the whole city of Edmonton.

McGyver Techniques

Since the dawn of my time, I've always wanted to be a Hero. When I could walk, my friends and I had plans to enlist in the army;  as soon as I got hurt, that idea was no longer feasible. Using my McGyver techniques, I created a wheel accessibility team to help everyone. I have been working on that for a long time and now 13 years after I started my blog, I have been invited to present 'Mightywheels.ca' to the Alberta legislature.

A pushing at the StarBucks.

Today when I was at StarBucks, some lady told me I was a Manela. I asked what that was? and she said its someone who gives his or her life to their cause. so I agreed with that.
Some goofballs were sitting behind the ladies and they must of been listen to them because he stood up purposely shoved over the table towards me and said that I better stay the f**k out of his store.

Legislature.

The idea for this blog is also to make our city intersections, sidewalks, and sidewalk ramps safer. Mightywheels.ca has posted X amount of traffic\parking violations. I took all the posts to an police officer I knew and he told with tears in his eyes that all those pictures would not hold up in court, he said I'd need a bi-law like photo radar has.
So I'm asking the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Legislature to please team up with Mightywheels.ca and grant me the abilities to make our city more accessible.

A mighty fine Quote.
