City Map idea

I really would like to get you guys to help with this city map I have.

It's a city map posted on my blog showing good and bad surface areas and safe places to wheel, it will be updated weekly

It sounds like a project the city would get behind and give a grant to

Preasentaion

I gave a presentation to Transitions St. Alberta and their Jump start class.

Hello, my name is Timothy Maxwell, and my mission is to help people who use wheels.  I'm an independent advocate for people that use wheels. I’m running a team of helpers called Mightywheels.

Because, when I first started using wheels, I noticed many poor surface areas and wanted to create an internet blog to help other people who use wheels. The city has made many improvements, but there is much to do.  Help is still needed for everyone, from parents pushing baby strollers, the elderly with their walking devices, or people like me, in wheelchairs.

So, I went back to school to learn how to create a team of people that could help me with my endeavor, I call this Mightywheels. The teams objective is to raise awareness to the problems people who use wheels face everyday. These include poor surface areas on city intersections, poor  sidewalks and sidewalk ramps, and non-accessible places of business.

It is Mightywheels mission to work with
all businesses to try and find ways to make them more wheel friendly. That way, all customers will have improved accessibility.

We want equal accessibility, so we can all access our beautiful city.

Help us, help others

We started a new age of helping people who use wheels. The Accessibility Age.
for all people, parents pushing baby strollers, to the elderly with their walking devices, or people like me, in wheelchairs. We all need good, intersections, safe sidewalk, sidewalk ramps to use.

Help us, help others
