I have moved into West Edmonton Village and really like it. Today I went to the N.E.T. police center in the first appt building to present my idea.
Hi, my names Tim I've been in a wheel chair for 20+ years and I have noticed that 90% of the (so called) handy capped accessible entries, to buildings are not independently accessible. (meaning you need someone to help you.)
Everyone who uses wheels wants to be the most independent they safely can be.
So, thats why I have launched a Internet blog called mightywheels.blogspot.ca
that will hopefully bring about some changes for accessibility regulations in our beautiful city, which will really help people using wheels get around better.
When my group gets more established,
we plan to startup a weekly documentary\show on transportation for people that use wheels.

Its sad..
I was told by the city of Spruce Grove, to stop trying to enforcing a law that does not exists, lots of people were seeing the many problems people with wheels were having, I guess they were just waiting for me to do something about it. But, without a license, my group had to brake apart.
